  • From 01.01.2022, health insurance companies only pay extra for care for patients under 21 years of age (differently depending on the severity of the defect and the age of the patient).
  • An insured person under 21 years of age is considered to be an insured person under the age of 22 for the entire period of orthodontic treatment.
  • The amounts shown for treatment with fixed and foil appliances are the amounts for active treatment in both dental arches, including the fabrication of fixed retainers at the end of the active phase of treatment and the handover of the retainers.
  • The amount for your treatment may differ from these amounts if additional appliances are used during treatment. The exact amount will be communicated to you along with your proposed treatment plan.
